LOVE SENIOR CARE PROGRAM — THAILAND

Love International plans a facility serving approximately 18 residents in 2027, with care provided free of charge to eligible individuals. Preliminary rent is estimated at $350 per month. Proposed staffing is two full-time employees, one part-time employee, and four volunteers, subject to assessment of care needs and legal staffing requirements.
Our Mission
To provide compassionate, Christ-centered residential support, safe housing, nutritious meals, companionship, and spiritual encouragement to vulnerable seniors and frail elderly individuals in Hmong and tribal communities.
Program Objectives
• Provide clean, accessible, safe residential accommodation.
• Support daily activities, hygiene, nutrition, and wellbeing.
• Coordinate appropriate healthcare and emergency medical referrals.
• Reduce isolation through companionship and community activities.
• Offer voluntary prayer, fellowship, worship, and pastoral visits.
• Partner with families, local churches, and community organizations.
Who We Serve
Seniors and frail elderly people with limited financial or family support who need supportive daily living assistance but do not require continuous skilled nursing or hospital-level care. Admission depends on individual assessment and available resources.
Operating Approach
Work with qualified local caregivers, community leaders, healthcare providers, churches, and volunteers. Establish resident safeguarding, medication handling rules, infection prevention, emergency procedures, accessibility standards, and appropriate overnight coverage before opening. Confirm local regulatory and licensing obligations.
Planning and Budget
Facility rental assumption: $350 per month ($4,200 per year). Other projected expenses include staff compensation, food, utilities, care supplies, transportation, healthcare referrals, maintenance, and administration.
